Absolutely amazing, this is THE BEST mudflap mount there is.
I’ve had every type of mudflap mount, endlessly searching for the perfect mudflap mount for my altimeter (I’ve also had like every altimeter).
Such as:
– stiffened fabric mudflap mounts like the one from Chutingstar
– 3D printed mounts from etsy
– pillow mounts on the middle and chest strap
– metal and carbon fiber mudflap mounts
And this is the best by far. It’s ultralight. Totally transparent with a tiny lip at the top, so you can see your whole mudflap. A bit bendy in case you fall forward. Has pre-drilled holes for a Galaxy altimeter, but you can also easily glue or attach Velcro to it instead for other altimeters. And it looks super snazzy because it’s so svelte in its design. Works in every orientation too!
Plus it’s a great price, cheaper than most everything else.
Overall, 10/10 for basically all skydiving disciplines besides CRW, because like every mudflap mount besides a pillow, this can get a line wrapped around it. Otherwise, for my purposes (wingsuiting and freeflying) it’s perfection. Thank you!
